What is God’s plan for passing on the Christian faith to the next generation? The answer to that question is both surprisingly ordinary and stunningly extraordinary. In the familiar passage of Deuteronomy 6:4-9, we’ll see how God uses the ordinary institutions of the family and the local church to accomplish only that which God can do. Only He can create in us a new heart that loves Him completely and worships Him alone.
